More visibility for ideas that inspire.
Blum demonstrates dynamics and style.
ARNO Design created the current trade fair stand for Julius Blum GmbH, the world’s leading manufacturer of kitchen and furniture fittings, for Interzum 2013. 1,100 square metres of exhibition space are used by the Vorarlberg-based company to present its entire product range in various segments: complete kitchen installations and spacious meeting areas are equally well represented here.
The eye-catching feature of the exterior façade is an orange wave made up of thousands of points of light. The dots are punched out on the white outer wall and backed with orange Plexiglas. This “wave of light” visualises the dynamism of the company, which is also reflected in the company motto “Perfecting Motion”.
Inside, the stand is made up of large, white, cubic bodies that span the kitchen installations or the meeting lounge, for example. The individual cubes interlock, build on each other and interact perfectly – just as you would expect from intelligent organisation solutions in a kitchen. All elements are kept in elegant white – the walls and floors in dark grey. The second corporate colour, orange, is used here as a striking accent colour in the form of light strips on the ceiling, walls and floor. The central bar area also invites visitors with an orange-coloured counter and chairs.
The architecture of the stand is characterised by air and brightness. There is plenty of space to clearly separate the individual areas and also to effectively present material studies and smaller functional models.
