Trade fair design that skilfully reflects the corporate philosophy
Julius Blum GmbH faces a very special challenge: As the world’s leading manufacturer of kitchen and furniture fittings, perfection is expected in everything. This applies not only to the products, but of course also to the brand and trade fair presentation.
The Blum trade fair stand will be presented in an inviting and spectacular way on an area of almost 1700m² with the latest developments in functionality and convenience in the area of furniture and kitchen fittings. Combinations of different materials and looks create a unique overall concept.
An exhibition stand that invites visitors to explore and linger
Open, close and try out. Understand in detail what moves Blum – and the best way to do this is with all your senses. Precisely coordinated themed areas along the visitor route invite you to explore. Detailed demonstration objects are set up for the technical aspect of the fittings, where the focus is on trying out and visualising the function. Technical interrelationships are illustrated by 3D animations and interactive functional displays. A separate service area with sample production and advice is dedicated to processing in furniture production.
A sophisticated concept to guide visitors through the exhibition stand
However, visitors should not feel emotionally lost amidst the flood of technical information. We have succeeded in doing this by staging exemplary living situations of people in different age and life phases, from simple, imaginative solutions to classic, luxurious ambience. Visitors can explore the living environments of three fictitious couples in Barcelona, Berlin and Singapore and experience the amazing features and enormous variety of Blum components in action.
Because together with our customers we form a focussed team…
… to create a unique exhibition stand. Whereby the term ‘team’ in our collaboration with Julius Blum is actually an understatement, as this partnership has already existed for well over 10 years. Our constant, trusting and close dialogue has allowed us to plan things over the years that have one thing in common from start to finish: a love of perfection. From the smallest detail to the big picture.
Sustainable and modular trade fair design that can be reused again and again
Sustainability and digitalisation run like a common thread through the entire project. As early as the design phase, attention was paid to long-term reusability and resource-saving design. The modular aluminium shell of the exhibition stand has a lightweight and flexible design and can also be easily used at smaller trade fairs. Aluminium surfaces and steel beams are only recycled after repeated use. At Blum, every step in production and worldwide distribution is checked for ecological optimisation possibilities.
